Summary: The Dayton C. Miller Collection is comprised of nearly 1,650 flutes and other instruments, statuary, iconography, books, music, tutors, patents, and other materials mostly related to the flute. The Miller Collection contains Western and non-Western examples from all over the world, and at least 460 European and American instrument makes are represented. This Preview of the online collection features catalog entries and images for 102 of the 1,650 instruments in the collection. The online collection will eventually include the complete Wind Instruments in the Dayton C. Miller Collection and selected items from other parts of the collection
