Summary: St. Petersburg, mid 19th century: the indolent, middle-aged Oblomov lives in a flat with his older servant, Zakhar. He sleeps much of his day, dreaming of his childhood on his parents' estate. Oblomov's life changes when his boyhood friend, Stoltz, introduces him to Olga. Soon Olga and Oblomov fall in love. But where does that leave Stoltz in the triangle?
